Teaching
Megan fell in love with teaching privately in her gap year in 2012, when she taught private violin lessons and coached the string ensemble at a local adult music school, and also when she taught about 15 children on a one to one basis from the local primary schools. Now back from Birmingham, she is based in Essex and she teaches 20 minute lessons, 30 minute and 1 hour lessons. For any enquiries please don’t hesitate to get in contact via the Contacts page.
Weddings/Events
Megan is available to play at weddings, dinner parties, birthday parties, recitals etc. She has recently set up ‘Savoy Strings’ www.savoystrings.co.uk who are a function string ensemble who can perform as a violin and cello duo or string quartet. She performs a wide variety of genres, from classical to jazz to pop. From Bach to Beethoven, Pachelbel to Piazzolla, Dvorak to David Guetta.
She is also available to play the electric violin, as a soloist or as part of an electric violin and cello duo, or even an electric string quartet.
If there are any specific pieces of music you want at your event, Megan can arrange them free of charge.
